Windsor Gate Neighbourhood

The new Windsor Gate development will eventually be home to as many as 1,400 residents. The 10.25 acre brownfield site features a series of pedestrian mews that link residents to nearby parks and a skytrain station.

We worked with the developer and a team of architects to create the master plan and detailed design for eight of the project’s ten phases. The streetscape, townhouse complex, a central park, multifamily buildings, and clubhouse are all designed to bring people together. Pedestrian-friendly sidewalks and corners are dotted with benches for connecting with neighbours. Each building has its own courtyard that acts as a welcoming backyard for families. The community club features fitness and meeting facilities, and an entry water feature makes a convenient landmark.
