D'Arcy Hutton
D'Arcy is a landscape designer and educator living and working on unceded Tsleil-Waututh, Stó:lō, Squamish, and Musqueam land. Her facilitation and community outreach expertise help deepen each project's connection to its context, people, and place. D'Arcy's early career work involved designing, administrating, and implementing outdoor arts and ecology programming for children, youth, and adults in urban and wilderness settings. Her keen ethical commitment to designing urban and non-urban landscapes, where people, plants and animals can thrive together, interweaves with her academic background studying the complex environmental, political and historical issues Indigenous communities face. D'Arcy commits her off-hours to being curious about her environment and spends time trail-running with her partner. She also enjoys picking berries and poking around in bogs and other fascinating ecosystems with her nature-nerd friends.
