Windsor Gate Neighbourhood

Windsor Gate is a 10.25-acre master-planned community in Coquitlam that has transformed a former brownfield site into a vibrant residential neighbourhood. Home to approximately 1,400 residents, the development is connected by a network of pedestrian mews that link homes with nearby parks, community amenities, and the SkyTrain station.

PWL partnered with the developer and project architects to prepare the master plan and detailed landscape design for eight of the community’s ten phases. The public realm, streetscapes, townhouse neighbourhoods, central park, multifamily residential buildings, and clubhouse were designed to create a connected, walkable community that encourages everyday interaction.

Generous sidewalks, seating areas, shared courtyards, and welcoming open spaces support gathering, recreation, and neighbourly connections, while the clubhouse provides fitness and community amenities. Together, these elements create a cohesive landscape that strengthens the identity of Windsor Gate and contributes to a complete, livable neighbourhood.
