Bruce is a driving force behind some of metro Vancouver’s largest award-winning waterfront projects—such as George Wainborn Park, Westminster Pier Park, and the Vancouver Convention Centre’s six-acre living roof.
Since 1987 he has been shaping cities—driven by a passion to respond to their culture and history and to explore how spaces change over time. It means he takes a long-term and people-focused view of every project.
Bruce completed his Master of Landscape Architecture at the University of Oregon and practiced in Toronto and Boston before joining PWL in 1995. Today, when he’s not finding creative solutions to bring sustainable construction to urban environments, you’ll find him (no surprise), poking around his garden.
