Meredith Wilson

MLA, BSC
Landscape Designer

Meredith is dedicated to creative processes and meaningful engagement with the landscape that can materialize into positive outcomes for both human and nonhuman communities. Growing up on a farm in Guelph, Ontario, she would become fuelled by a desire to integrate ecological and design thinking in the field of landscape architecture.  After completing her undergrad, she spent time tree planting across Canada and went abroad to conduct climate change adaptation research in Vietnam and Tanzania before arriving in Vancouver.

While attending the University of British Columbia, Meredith was involved in the design of a therapeutic care farm for people with dementia, as well as peatland conservation efforts in the lower mainland and throughout the province. All of this brought her to PWL as a summer intern in 2022, during which she contributed to the innovative Sea2City Design Challenge and developed her skills as a highly adaptable designer, creating engaging graphics and supporting public engagement on the topic of sea level rise. In her downtime, Meredith can be found climbing in the boulders under the Stawamas Chief or getting closer to Vancouver’s native flora and fauna.
