After graduating with her Masters of Landscape Architecture from Harvard, Emily joined the PWL team as an intern. She grew into a full-time role as a landscape designer—preparing technical drawings, public engagement materials, and masterplanning. She is motivated by the opportunity to enliven spaces and enhance their identity.
While living in Paris during her undergraduate degree, Emily discovered the beauty and presence of landscape architecture. Her travels continue to inspire her and add to what she calls her “spatial library.” She has since lived in Boston, worked in Kentucky, and spent a semester studying in Tokyo. While working in Kentucky, Emily designed a set of wheelchair accessible raised garden beds, and has since extended this inclusive perspective of universal design and access to nature to all of her projects.
