Kait is interested in dynamic, resilient landscapes, spatial justice and the ways communities engage with landscapes. Kait holds a Permaculture Design Certificate, a Bachelor of Environmental Science from the University of Calgary and a Masters of Landscape Architecture from the University of British Columbia. She has completed an internship with the City of Vancouver in their Green Streets and Community Garden Branch. The British Columbia Society of Landscape Architects awarded Kait the Dr. John Wesley Neill Medal and Prize for academic achievement and leadership.
When she has free time, Kait likes to get her hands in the dirt. She is passionate about permaculture, natural building and growing her own food in her community garden plot.
